Push notification app, Pushcut, which recently added HomeKit support has received another update that adds in support for the Apple Watch. The update, which is available now for free, brings actionable notifications to the Apple Watch making the handy utility even better as users had to use the iOS app in order to toggle HomeKit actions or scenes previously.
We recently spent some time with the Pushcut app, and found it to be a valuable tool for HomeKit users as it enables the ability to create notifications based on things such as time of day, along with appropriate actions. One example is using the app to notify you at 10:00 P.M. if your office lights are still on, serving as not only a reminder that it may be time to wind things down, but also providing a direct control for turning off your office lights and equipment if they are connected to HomeKit. This is in contrast to typical HomeKit automations that will perform actions at a set time without taking into account that schedules or just life in general can vary from time to time.
The Pushcut app is available for free on the App Store, with in-app purchases available for expanded features in the form of subscriptions.
