Expired – HomeKit Deal: Act Quick, The D-Link Omna 180 Camera Is On Sale For Just $75

Update: This deal has expired and is no longer available.

HomeKit’s first camera, the D-Link Omna 180 may not be the flashiest camera around, however, it is still very capable, especially for the price with a sale featured on Amazon today. The Omna 180, which has an MSRP of $129.99, has been marked down to just $74.99 with free shipping even without a Prime membership. This price is the lowest price seen as of yet for the camera, with the last sale of $99.99 being the previous lowest price.

D-Link Omna 180 Cam

MSRP: $129.99

SALE PRICE: $74.99

This sale price is offered from two sellers currently, with the first being Amazon itself, although it is showing that it will not be in stock until November 25th. The other seller is D-Link Systems, and it is in stock and fulfilled by Amazon, so it should arrive in just a few days after ordering.

As its name suggests, the D-Link Omna 180 cam has a 180 degree field of view, and offers up to 1080p video resolution. The camera also has two-way audio, night vision, motion sensing, and of course HomeKit support, allowing it to play nicely with other accessories in your home. The camera features a sleek aluminum and black design, which feels substantial when held, and around the back is a micro-USB port for power.

The Omna 180 also has a micro-SD slot underneath, for local recordings which are accessible through the Omna 180 app, and it can support up to 128gb cards, although one is not included in the box. The biggest downside to the Omna 180 is that it apparently will not be seeing an upgrade to support the newly released HomeKit Secure Video feature, which may be a deal breaker for some.

As with all Amazon deals, there is no telling how long this price will last, and stock of the camera is most certainly dwindling as the camera has most certainly been discontinued for quite a while. What do you think of the Omna 180 cam? Is this price enough for you to jump in even though it does not support HomeKit Secure Video? Let us know in the comments below, or on Twitter, @HomeKit_Hero.
