Clear the Background Applications

Let’s try the easy fix first. If this doesn’t work, we will move on to the trickier ones.

If you have too many applications opened in the background, there is not enough RAM for Snapchat to run. Simply open the recent apps menu and clear them all.

This will free up system RAM, allowing Snapchat to have enough to run smoothly.

Close the Camera-centric applications

Snapchat is basically a camera application and if there is another camera-centric app opened in the background, Snapchat will not work.

Rebooting results in refreshing and the system closes all software and hardware facilities, giving your iPhone a fresh start.

To reboot your iPhone, press on the volume up button and then release it, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button.

You can release that button once the Apple logo reappears on the screen. Your iPhone will reboot and all your apps will be refreshed, including Snapchat.

Deactivate VPN and uninstall forbidden apps.

Other than that, do not install any foreign apps from sources that are not trustworthy, or outside the App Store. If you already have such apps on your phone, delete them before relaunching Snapchat.

  • Click on More and then on Multitask.
  • Select Snapchat and swipe up to force shut down the app.
